Kids across Alabama get a lot out of summer. There’s more free time, more sun, and let’s face it, there’s more fun. But, research shows that kids can lose a lot, too. Summer learning loss happens when kids forget much of what they learned at school during summer vacation. Help fight summer learning loss by taking your child to the local library, attending a summer learning camp, or even playing board games that better your child’s reading and math skills.
