Chessie MannExecutive Assistant
Chessie joined the VOICES for Alabama’s Children team in February 2017 as the Executive Assistant. In her realm of responsibilities she assist the Executive Director in ensuring that the office and its day-to-day operations are running efficiently. Chessie has over fifteen years in operations, personnel, office management, and executive administrative experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
Chessie has a B.S. in Sociology (Marriage & Family Concentration) and a minor in Child Welfare and Advocacy. She will soon begin pursuing a M.S. in Public Policy & Administration.
As a mother, Chessie knows the impact and importance that strong foundations make in children’s lives, and is passionate about playing her role in advocating the best possible situations and environments in which children can thrive and excel to their full potentials.
In her spare time, Chessie enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s school, gardening, tennis, traveling, restoring old furniture, and spending time with her family. Chessie, her husband Brian (a local Montgomery attorney) and her daughter reside in Old Cloverdale.
