VOICES for Alabama’s Children’s primary support comes from grants, agency memberships, donors and contributions from individuals like you. By investing in our work today, you will join others who share our vision of an Alabama where every child has the opportunity to be safe, healthy, educated and economically secure.
Some of our impact through collaboration:
Establishment and funding of Alabama’s Children’s Health Insurance Programs (ALL Kids), has provided access to health care for an average of 63,800 children a year since 1998. Alabama now has one of the lowest uninsured child rates in the nation.
Other wonderful initiatives include things like increased access to high-quality pre-k for more than 1,800 Alabama four-year-olds, and the establishment of a statewide Child Death Review Process. This has resulted in a decline in preventable child deaths over the last few years.
